迈克尔杰克逊一首很有节奏感的歌MV有很多人在马路上打鼓

如果你不理解这首歌曲的内涵 就太可惜了：
这是一首反对种族歧视的歌曲，歌中提到了罗斯福总统，伟大的黑人领袖马丁.路德.金。
其中一段歌词极为经典，“告诉我什么降临到了我的生活，我有一个妻子与两个孩子正深深爱着我，但我已成了警察野蛮行为的受害者，我早厌倦了一直被当作仇恨的牺牲品，你们口口声声说为了上帝的利益，却使我失去了自尊，但我在期待上帝实现他的诺言，还我自由！” “告诉我什么才是我的权利，是不是因为我们太渺小你们就忽视我，你们已承诺要恢复我的自由，我早已厌倦于被当作可耻的人了，但他们把我仍进了监狱并强加给我一个很坏的罪名，我简直不敢相信这就是我所出生的地方，你们知道我十分痛恨说这句话，但政府不愿看到这一切，如果罗斯福还在的话，他不会让这种事发生的，在生活中有些事是他们不想看到的，但如果马丁.路德.金还活着的话，他不会就让这样下去的。”
“所有我要说的是，他们不会真正关心我们。” 从这写话中，体会得到迈克尔对于无端诽谤的无奈与严厉的控诉，暗示着那件他认是被诽谤的儿童性骚扰案，发泄了他的无比的仇恨。
他自己在评论这首歌时说：“我的这首歌引发了很大的争议，但我要想做的只是，想抚慰那写被压迫，被歧视的可怜的人们，以及种族主义，种族隔离制度与观念的受害者，我要帮助他们，使他们重新振作起来，与恶势力斗争，找回生活的自信，并且我也要站在他们中间一起战斗。”
这首歌有两个版本，MTV也有两个版本，一个是我们所看到的在巴西贫民区万人打鼓的场面，另一版本的MTV描绘的是在监狱里的场景，由于内容充斥很多暴力镜头，一般我们是看不到的，（我们现在能看到一些有删减无字幕版的 或者是后期我们自己加的字幕版的了）在美国也是禁播的，但这也许更能表现主题思想了。
