这段有关“奥巴马演讲后暴怒踹门”的视频在网上疯传，让人看后瞠目结舌。但不久，有人对应地找出了该演讲的原始录像，证实“踹门”属网友恶搞，奥巴马实际上很平静地走出门去，网友们随即大呼上当。视频制作专业人士告诉记者，这种剪辑手法在技术上并不难，将前后帧的衔接处理好就可能以假乱真。但是又有相关人士提出，当时表情凝重更符合踹门态度，而后的原始录像更像是用剪辑手法衔接的。为什么呢，如果真需要做出这个踹门动作，要找个非常接近奥巴马的人做一个类似动作，然后做好帧间衔接。事实上这样非常复杂，除了动作、服装、体型要做的非常接近外，踢门时人身上的光照以及人物的投影效果也必须相当真实。从这个踢门的视频上看，几乎没有不自然的地方。反而所谓的“平静走出”的视频，在奥巴马即将走过这道门时，不但墙壁上没有奥巴马的影子，仔细看墙壁上明显还有一块非常不自然的纯色色块，之所以会这样，是因为造假者需要消除奥巴马原本踢门的时候留在墙上的影子。填充纯色再复制几个动作，比费神合成踹门动作要容易得多。
